I'm looking for some type of cricket feeder for my glider as when I put the crickets in his cage they hop all over the place and I have looked at several of the links here and cannot find anything can anyone help direct me where to find one?

One simple solution is to go to a bait shop and buy a cricket keeper. You can drop the crickets in and watch your gliders help themselves. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wave.gif" alt="" />

TENT TIMEE!!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/agree.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dance.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/multi.gif" alt="" /> Yay! Its soo much fun to feed crickets in the tent or glider proofed room. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> It's great enrichment for them to be able to 'hunt' and 'stalk' the crickets before BOOM, poucing and gobbling them up, most times chirping away about how proud they are of themselves. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/heartpump.gif" alt="" /> If you are not comfy with that you can prolly feed them in what is called a "critter Keeper" It is a very small plastic cage that lots of people use to transport their hammies/mice/small creatures to the vet in. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> They can usually be found in your local pet store! Hope that helps.. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumb.gif" alt="" />

PS I STRONGLY suggest the tent time thing, they have sooo much fun and really appreciate the hunting I think!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/littleglider.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/littleglider.gif" alt="" />

Would putting the glider in the tub without water of course and putting the crickets in there be the same thing? I can glider proof the bathroom and do that.

Thanks for your help I want my glider to have the best life as possible

I would maybe put a blanket down in the tub, but sure you can do that. Just make sure all shampoos, soaps etc, are away so the suggie babies dont ingest any of that! Also if you suggie is not completely bonded make sure that all lil holes and tight spaces are blocked so you don't lose them if the get frightened by something and run for cover! Have fun and I bet you'll laugh out loud more than once!

PS I think you are onna be a great suggie slave!

Although they love to hunt their crickets, you can also freeze them. This prevents escapees chirping all over your house and my gliders love their cricketsicles.
