I know that stainless steel is safe. Is nickel? I know that lots of people use nickel plated liberty bells and was wondering if the nickel is a safe option for gliders?

I was wondering the same thing. I just got my babies so I need to stock up on all the materials needed to make all the toys and things for their cage. The only lanyard hooks and swivel clasps I can find are nickel.

Wanted to make sure because I have found several nickel items for gliders and don't want to buy them only to have the entire lot be a waste of money.
