I collect driftwood, sterialize and bake the branches. The center pole is oak with 3 coats of finish. LSardou OP *Glideritis Anonymous* L Joined: Mar 2006 Posts: 21,060 Kansas	I use a polycrylic (the same finish that's used on furniture) Table tops etc. When it's dry the surface is hard. This makes it easy for cleaning etc.
