I've had blood drawn on gliders a few times. My vet and I try not to put gliders under unless absolutely necessary, that includes for blood draws. If your vet is comfortable with it, have them try this: - Wrap the glider in a towel, blanket, etc., leaving only the tail exposed. - Firmly hold on to the tail, and soak it with alcohol. There is a vein in the underside of the tail that should become visible. Your vet should then be easily able to draw blood and not have to knock out the glider. There is minimal irritation and the glider goes along it's merry little way once everything is done

I have also heard where they can clip one of the nails a little short to cause it to bleed and get blood that way too. I hope that everything goes well tomorrow and they can determine what's going on with your little one. Sending lots of hugs and prayers your way.
