Ian D. Hume has done extensive work with gliders. Even if it is "outdated" the research is still valid and valuable.

I know Dr. Teresa Bradley also co authored a book containing info on gliders but I don't know the name of the book. It is a medical book published for other vets.

Perhaps its possible, if nothing is in there regarding soy or other other topics brought up, an email or contact to the author could be in order.. perhaps it is something they can answer.

I have been feeding Wombaroo too in my glider's diet for over 4 years. I know other breeders feeding it for longer. As mentioned before, it is soy based. We have healthy gliders. We must remember that soy is good for healthy bones. Women are told over and over by their doctors as we age, it's a good supplement for us. Why not for gliders?

Good luck printing that. It's protected.
As far as feeding a glider soy I don't think it's going to make or break its dietary needs as long as you don't turn it into a staple. I look at it the same way I do grapes and raisins. They get it as a treat.

The links are makin my head swim already and I can't figure out which ones are posted that I myself have already read. LOL But I'm fairly certain it hasn't been since it was in a nursing journal. What I did find a couple of weeks ago basically said that the risk of calcium deficiency was found to be much higher in strict vegans who did not consume ANY animal products. If I find it I will be sure to post the exact words and the source.
