Hello everyone! I need a little bit of help, mostly opinions. I got my lovely ladies a new cage, the Midwest critter nation cage which they absolutely love!
Well, tonight as I was putting their food in, Miss Ava decided she wanted to crawl underneath the tray. Well, low-and-behold she got stuck underneath and wouldn’t move. I did get her out from under there and she seemed pretty spooked and just sat there. This is the part that’s kind of freaking me out, she just sits there and with her little dried fruit starts to just close her eyes and I call her name and she looks at me and she’ll start to close her eyes again. I know this may sound crazy but do y’all think it’s something I should be concerned about?
This cage was one that was recommended by the breeder and I’m almost second guessing it. Thanks for any help!

If this happens again, offer her honey or better yet, water with honey in it

Thank you for replying! It was a bit scary since that hasn’t happened before. She seems to be better now. Maybe she has learned her lesson and she’ll not try to go under the tray again, silly girl.
